Stunning Scarves Using Local Geelong Plants

Unbelievable, the stunning colours and prints I am getting using local Geelong plants and leaves.  Different times of the year give subtle colour changes and I am forever amazed at the difference a matter of months makes.

Combining the plants with rusty bits and pieces really gives magnificent deeper colours to the cloth.

A sample of these can be seen in the photo above,  I will be taking these lovely scarves to a great  Geelong Artisan Market this Friday the 31st of August.  Both pure silk and pure wool scarves feature.

Make the trip to the All Saints’ Hall, 113 Noble St, Newtown and see for yourself.

Hope to see you there!

Artefact Geelong Spring Market

Only 6 days to the Geelong Artefact Market and I can’t wait!

I’ve been so busy these last few weeks in preparation for this fantastic market,  making the final touches, topping up my stock and making sure every thing is ready.

I have heard from so many people that this market really showcases local talent, so I am excited to be part of a community of artisans producing individual and “One Off” items.

Looking over my stock, my eco dyed items are lovely, you will see what I mean, and in fact, I have attached pics of items that I will be selling.

Hope to see you there.
